Milford Girls Softball will be holding a tryout for the 2022 summer travel season on Sunday October 3rd at Memorial Field (Town Park). If your daughter cannot make the original tryout, we are also holding a makeup tryout Tuesday October 5th at 5pm (all age groups).

If your daughter is interested in playing travel softball please fill out the google form below and attend the proper age tryout on Sunday October 3rd or Tuesday October 5th.

Event Timing: Sunday October 3rd
14U: 9am-10am
12U: 10am-11:30am
10U: 11:30am-1pm

Location: Memorial Field (Town Park)
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tryout time.

Travel Team Ages:

10U: 10 years or younger before January 1st 2022
Any child born on January 1st 2011 or after

12U: 12 years or younger before January 1st 2022
Any child born on January 1st 2009 or after

14U: 14 years or younger before January 1st 2022
Any child born on January 1st 2007 or after

Please register your daughter in the appropriate age bracket on the google form and show up to the appropriate tryout time.

If we have to cancel tryouts on October 3rd due to rain then we will hold a rain date tryout for Sunday October 10th with a makeup date for Tuesday October 12th.

Hello Everyone,

Our online registration for our in-town softball league is now open! 

Online registrations can be completed by going to our website and clicking on the 2021 MGSL In Town Registration tab.

All registrations should be completed by March 31st. We will however continue to accept registrations until April 26th with the addition of a $10 late fee.

The MGSL offers many opportunities for parents/guardians to volunteer with coaching and other aspects of running the league. If you have interest in giving your time or would like to hear more information please email us at milfordsoftball@gmail.com

Hello to our Milford Girls Softball community!

We are reaching out to update you on our intentions to have a 2021 in-town softball season. Before doing so, Milford Girls Softball League wanted to extend our hopes and best wishes that you, your families, and close ones have remained safe, healthy, and supportive of one another throughout the pandemic. Collectively we can look forward to putting this behind us.

Our intention is to have a successful softball season as scheduled! We will open registration on February 1st and the season will begin on April 26th lasting ~6-8 weeks.

The expectations are that we will see a high school outdoor spring sport season with limited restrictions. MGSL sees this as a good signal. We will of course consult with our local health department, but the season will go on as usual.

Given the outdoor nature of playing softball, the size of the field, and the number of players on a team, we are confident that with few modifications a safe season will happen for our players. This was on display over the fall when a few of our travel teams safely competed in a small and successful fall ball schedule hosted in Bellingham.

The MGSL has a long history of providing an instructional, encouraging, and fun recreational experience for the Milford community. We support softball players of all abilities from kindergarten through sixth grade to learn the fundamentals of the game, rules of the game, and the importance of teamwork and camaraderie. Our teams welcome all players and there are also many opportunities for parents/guardians to volunteer with coaching and other aspects of running the league.

If you are a returning family, we can’t wait to see you again! We kindly ask you to spread the word…encourage a friend, neighbor, or someone new to town to join this great program.
